SXSW Premieres, Shop Update
Off to SXSW to World Premiere, “The Dream Machine” directed by Jimmy Marble.
It’s my first animated film and it’s a special one. I received the script around 2020 and was told it was an animated film, which excited me greatly. I love animation and voice acting was something I had not explored yet, though always wanted to.
I met Jimmy Marble in NYC the summer of 2014 and we’ve been constant collaborators since. He’s given me roles that have allowed me to explore and discover some latent artistic abilities. Much creative license with Jimmy, though there is specific notes that must be reached. Feels much like my process in writing music, or designing.
10 years ago Jimmy and I met up at SXSW. I was launching Good Posture and he was on a voyage of sorts. In our 10 years together we have made four films and built a wonderful and highly unique dynamic. I’m happy to be vessel for his ideas.
